The Neptune Equatorial Expedition!

Singapore Paddle Club embarked upon an adventure to the Equator in August 2016. This expedition involved a team of 21 paddlers and their coach, Denes, navigating an outrigger canoe for 180kms over 4 days, traveling south from Singapore, through Indonesia, towards the equator via Neptune Island. This expedition was designed to help determine the feasibility of a fleet of outrigger canoes joining the annual Neptune Regatta in 2017. This expedition also endeavored to raise awareness for Smile Asiaand the Singapore Paracanoeing Development Program.
